If the craziest video game ever was turned into a movie, it still wouldn’t be quite as awesome as “Hardcore Henry.” The action is intense, the plot is wild and it looks like – well, basically, it’s like no movie you’ve ever seen before – all shot from a first-person point of view.
I saw this outrageous, audacious movie without knowing anything about it at Toronto last year, and I was just utterly blown away by the craftsmanship and storytelling…it’s an art film masquerading as a badass action film!
First Take will screen “Hardcore Henry” for KCRW members this Wednesday the 30th. Drinks and food trucks start at 6:30, the insanity starts at 8:00!
WARNING: this movie is very intense and fantastically violent…and it doesn’t let up!
